This month's concert will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018 due to the Lighting of the Square Activities on Friday, November 23, 2018.
Off Square Music will present the trio Bad Penny in concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Stage Left Cafe, 125 Van Buren St. on the historic Woodstock Square.
Bad Penny is an acoustic trio based in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. They have fast become one of the most popular performing groups at the Woodstock Farmers Market.
Members Wayne Destree, Kevin Kelly and Jim Zale honed their chops in local bands such as Goin' South, Axe Grinder and Last Gasp, to name a few. While they still enjoy playing in full-blown rock bands, there is something special about playing stripped down arrangements of classic rock songs from groups like The Beatles, Crosby, Stills & Nash and The Eagles. Vocal harmonies take center stage in Bad Penny shows.
Suggested donation is $15. For reservations, email Keith at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 815-338-5164.
All concerts begin at 7:30 pm Off Square Music is a Woodstock nonprofit folk music organization. For more information about this or other Off Square events, visit offsquaremusic.org or the Off Square Music Facebook page.
